Society is a band… my band… me, Sims Hardin… guitarist and songwriter of some other bands called Mesh and Toe Ring. I wrote and recorded these songs in my basement on my friend Steve’s Tascam, which of course I broke. Sorry, Steve. Once the machine was broken I was like, “I guess this is done.” And it was. These songs explore themes or feelings of loss, worthlessness, depravity, and stumbling about in exile but in like a silly way. In true dunce-rock fashion. For fans of a potion that makes you hate yourself.
